You probably didn’t realize that Londonlogue, now known as Why Go London, is part of a big network of travel websites based in Portland, Oregon, USA. If that’s true then you certainly didn’t know that the main company that hosts these sites, bootsnall.com, is turning 10 years old soon, and is throwing a great and free party in Portland with special guests and valuable prizes.

There will be free beer and wine, and free snacks, and a DJ playing great tunes from 11pm to 2am, but the main party starts at 8pm, so come early. This is an annual event that BootsnAll holds to say thank you to the members of the online community, and make friends with whoever shows up. This year being the 10th anniversary, we are going all out with the best party ever.

In case you were worried, this is not a sales pitch of any kind. In fact, there will be free prizes all evening, the last of which is a $1,500 trip! Noted travel author Rolf Potts is scheduled to be there, as will a few hundred of our closest friends and community members, so we hope you show up to join us.

Date: Saturday, December 6, 2008
Time: 8pm to 2am
Place: Wonder Ballroom

Not that you even know who I am, but I’ll be DJing for the last few hours, and the whole thing promises to be a blast. You can get more details here at the Bootblog.
