Watch the Rugby World Cup Final at the cinema
England is getting all keyed up for tomorrow night’s Rugby World Cup final against South Africa at the Stade de France in Paris. England, the defending world champions, started the World Cup in horrible form losing to South Africa in the group stages, playing poorly against the USA and managing to get wins against Samoa and Tonga before surprising Australia in the quarterfinal and hosts France in the semifinal.
50-60,000 England fans are expected to be in Paris, plenty without tickets. The game kicksoff at 8pm GMT

Barbarians v Springboks at Twickenham
The Rugby World Cup reaches the semi-final stage this weekend with England playing France and South Africa up against Argentina. South Africa are the favourites to win the whole thing and have looked the best team in the competition so far.
If they do win the World Cup fans in London will get an early look at the new world champions because they’re playing a game against the Barbarians at Twickenham in West London on 1 December kicking off at 3pm. Tickets are now on sale priced from £12.50-£60.

Cage Rage 23
If you’re into the MMA(Mixed Martial Arts)/Ultimate fighting scene there’s an event on at Wembley Arena this weekend, 22 September, that tickets are still available for. Cage Rage 23 features 11 fights in the heavyweight, light-heavyweight, middleweight, welterweight and lightweight classes including a light-heavyweight world title fight between James Zikic and Vitor Belfort, and a British heavyweight title fight between Mustapha Alturk and Tengiz Tedoradze.

GB v Croatia Davis Cup Tickets
Tickets are still available for the Davis Cup Tennis World Group play-off tie between Great Britain and Croatia on the 21-23 September. The match is taking place on the No.1 Court at Wimbledon, only the fourth time in 30 years the Davis Cup has been played there and the winning country in this match gets a place in the elite 16 nation division of the Davis Cup while the loser goes into the Euro/Africa zone group one.
A Davis Cup tie involves four singles matches and a doubles match and countries normally select four players,

NFL heading for London
London’s gearing up for the arrival of the regular season NFL with the game between the Miami Dolphins and New York Giants taking place at Wembley Stadium on 28 October. It’s a 90,000 sellout and if they had a bigger stadium they could have easily filled that, half a million people applied for tickets.
The New York Giants will be using Chelsea’s new training ground at Cobham as their base and have appointed John Terry and Didier Drogba as honorary team captains. Weekend Sports Fixtures in London
A big weekend of games in the Rugby World Cup and all eyes on Sunday afternoon will be on Old Trafford where Manchester United play Chelsea, four days after the departure of Jose Mourinho. The story dominating the news in the UK today is Jose Mourinho getting fired/resigning/leaving by mutual consent, take your pick, from his position as Chelsea manager. What ever theory you believe Chelsea have lost the most successful manager in their history and one of the biggest personalities in English football is out of a job.

Arsenal Tickets Available
Tickets for Arsenal’s Carling Cup 3rd Round game with Newcastle at the Emirates Stadium on Tuesday 25 September are now on general sale. They’ve only been available to club members up until Friday but now £10 Lower Tier and £20 Upper Tier tickets have been released. Arsenal are sitting pretty at the top of the Premiership currently and while they’ll bring in a lot of squad players for the Carling Cup it should be a good game. If you’re buying online you’ll just need to complete the quick registration.

London Rugby Double Header
If the Rugby World Cup has got you in the mood to see some live action, get along to Twickenham this Saturday afternoon for the start Guinness Premiership, the English club season, and what’s billed as the London Double Header.
Two games for the price of one at the home of English rugby featuring Harlequins v London Irish kicking off at 3.30pm and London Wasps v Saracens kicking off at 6pm. The stadium’s famous West Car Park will have a Guinness Village, live music and a giant screen showing the Wales v Australia World Cup match.
