* Report for local government says London has an overcrowding epidemic. Maybe if they stopped giving all the council houses to asylum seekers they be some left for the people whose taxes have paid for them(BBCNews)

* 70 prisoners including 3 murderers walk out of open prison in Sussex. Is anyone surprised?(Reuters)

* West Ham football club agree take over by Icelandic consortium, they’ll soon be blowing bubbles in the Olympic Stadium(Yahoo)

* People in Britain twice as likely as Europeans to be victims of credit card fraud(SkyNews)

* British Transport Police say anyone who assaults a member of the Underground staff will now be arrested rather than cautioned. Being cautioned not to do it again was never much of a deterent(BBCNews)
