Get back in those cars

Another case of ‘you couldn’t make it up’.
TfL (Transport for London or Total f**king Lunatics) are giving £31 million of taxpayers money to Capita, the private company that runs the congestion charge, because they’re not making enough profit.

Seems as though too many people have stopped driving into the congestion zone and that’s thrown a spanner in the master plan.

TfL are also short of money for transport improvements because they based their budget on nobody avoiding the charging zone.
This just shows up entirely that this scheme was never about cutting back traffic, its all about raking in more money for Ken Livingstone and his Assembly.
Tfl seem actually surprised that people don’t want to pay the charge.

You can guarantee two things will happen, the zone will be enlarged and the charge will go up because TfL need loads of people in cars to finance all their fancy projects.
