Seems like London has a jackass of a police chief to go along with a jackass mayor.
Ian Blair, the Metropolitan Police chief, who seems more intent on chasing some ultra politically correct agenda than dealing with crime in London, said yesterday the media was ‘institutionally racist’ in the way it reported murders and used the murders of white ten year olds Jessica Chapman and Holly Wells as examples, saying ‘almost nobody can understand why it became the biggest story in Britain’.
It was the biggest story that summer dip shit, because two young girls went missing for days, there was a massive manhunt, the eventual killer and his alibi-giving girlfriend gave interviews to the press while the search was on and he was right up there helping the police look for the girls. It was from a media point of view a great story.
You only have to read the newspapers on an average week to read about people of all races who get murdered and the story gets a paragraph on page 5 or somewhere. Some murders, fortunately or not have ingredients that just make people want to read about them.
I’d fire Ian Blair for trying to use race to stir things up for his own motives.
