London Mayor Ken Livingstone has called US Ambassador Robert Tuttle a ‘chiselling little crook’ because the US embassy refuses to pay the congestion charge, which under the Vienna Convention on diplomats it doesn’t have to because its a local tax.
Livingstone’s claim is the congestion charge is a ’service’ not a tax. What service do you get for your £8 apart from not recieving a £40 fine the first day you don’t pay it.
Livingstone is the ultimate little weasel, who’ll happily fleece ordinary people out of £8 a day just for trying to go about their business. I hope Robert Tuttle comes out and tells him where to stick his C-Charge.
Cuddly Ken, as his pals in the media like to call him, is about as cuddly as a pile of warm shit, but you’d probably feel cleaner after cuddling the shit.

Ken Livingstone has made a career out of whining about business, siding with the left wing groups that make him popular with radicals and making life hell for the average working man and woman.
He is a classic example of a left wing politician, who will drive business into the ground and make the city a no productive place. Tax, tax, tax and no real way to give bak to the people who are paying it. His mentality comes right out of the Socialist playbook: ‘Take no responsibility for your own actions, your situation / actions are entirely the result of ’society’, its the government’s job to house you, feed you, educate you, reitre you, fix your problems, you don’t need to make any effort in regard to these. ‘
When these guidleines are followed and you end up with a disfunctional society where people are not used to pulling their finger out, you can always rely on the old standby: blame business, tax people with a job / car
