Heatwave

Its too damn hot, bring back the rain.

The temperature has reached record levels in the UK this week, but the problem is we’re not geared up for this weather either at home or in the workplace and most cars don’t have a/c, so its a case of sweat it out.

If all you have do is sit back and drink a beer, its great, but if you’re doing anything physical, its a hard slog.

Interesting to note that here in New York City we have had a week of thunderstorms and rain that has never been witnessed. My new used car, a 1991 Toyota Camry has a leaky sunroof which has caused the interior to have the old car moldy smell.

No No, No rain! Rain is bad it makes you wet and grumpy, unless its just for 20mins and the sun is still shining through it.
Cooler weather… I can go with that… but pleeez hold off on the rain dances!

Yeah I can imagine the mouldy smell would be pretty unpleasant.
And I really want sunshine and about 75-80 degrees, Santa Barbara weather, that would be perfect.

Come to Bali its nice and cool. The sun is as powerful as ever but the mornings and evenings are so pleasant.

This afternoon I was down by the beach in Sanur at a cafe and one of the waitresses was shivering in her sweater “Dingin” (cold ). It was only about 84f so I could see where she was coming from.

I hate drawn out rainy days, especially when you have to ride around town on a bicycle ( sometime balancing the pizzas with one hand ). Don’t mind tropical downpours though, they’re impressive.

84f with a beach near by is very nice. If I had a hammock, it’d be perfect.
