That lunatic we have for a mayor has come up with another blockhead idea.
Ken Livingstone now wants to extend his congestion charge to Heathrow Airport to deter people from driving there.
And how does he expect the thousands of travellers with all their luggage to get to and from the airport, use the Tube?
Underground trains get filled like cattle cars at the moment, there’s no way they can handle planeloads of people with baggage.
The car parks at Heathrow already charge extortionate rates and now Livingstone wants his slice.
I wonder when he’s done in Iraq, if George Bush can spare a couple of tanks to come and liberate the London Assembly.

I think Ken Livingstone must be reading the same ‘play book’ as the Indonesian government, who after seeing their tourist industry get hit with a bombing, war, SARS and national holiday, have decided to halve the length of tourist visas.
Its actually amazing that some countries remain solvent considering the quality of leadership.
Maybe Satan is working through your mayor as he is through the American Congress according to Dave Barry in his recent, highly respected but never-taken-seriously article syndicated worldwide and maybe even on the moon.
