If you’re in London and fancy treating yourself to an expensive lunch, an unusual option could be Selfridges new £85 beef sandwich.
It contains Japanese Wagyu beef, foie gras, brie and a few other bits and pieces. The beef is the real expensive ingredient, Wagyu cows get regular massages and are fed beer every day. I want to come back as a Japanese cow.
I heard a guy from Selfridges on the radio this afternoon who said they’ve sold about a dozen today.
