Its not cricket

Major League Baseball is looking at London as a possible site to play some regular season games starting in 2007.

While I’m a big fan and would try and go to the games, watching say the Red Sox play the Orioles at the Oval would just seem a bit too fake.
Baseball should be played in real baseball stadiums, you need at least one set of fans who are really behind a team for atmosphere and home runs dropping over the boundary rope just wouldn’t look right.

The Premiership could probably play Arsenal v Manchester United at Yankee Stadium but in gaining more exposure would lose all the tension and passion and get an exhibtion game.
