The people speak

Can’t say how pleased I am at the trouble inside and outside the Houses of Parliament today.
I think this protest was about more than just whether to ban hunting, I think its the silent majority of ordinary people finally saying they’re sick to the back teeth of Tony Blair and his Labour government riding rough shod over what the average person in this country thinks.

The people getting their heads cracked open by police batons this afternoon look like the kind of folks who would never have thought of joining a demo but have been given no choice.
I just hope the Countryside Alliance and the fuel protesters combine to bring this country to a standstill to let Mr Blair know the majority are just fed up with his bullshit.
He’s definitely going about the right way to lose votes before the next election.

“Today, institutions fundamental to the British system of Government are under attack: the public schools, the house of Lords, the Church of England, the holy institution of Marriage, even our magnificent police force are no longer safe from those who would undermine our society, and it’s about time we said ‘enough is enough’ and saw a return to the traditional British values of discipline, obedience, morality and freedom.

Not sure about the House of Lords and the Church of England.
I think we could do without them.
And the police, all they’re good for is catching people driving 33 in a 30 zone, shitcan them as well.
Freedom with discipline would be a start.

The next election’s going to be tight, that’s for sure. I reckon it’ll be between Labour and the Lib Dems with the Tory’s in third place.

Labour will probably win though. Five more years of Blair?
