Left wing Labour MP's and Union leaders want the Labour party to return to traditional socialist policies or they’ll or lose the next election.

These people are still as deluded as ever.
The only reason Labour ended eighteen years of Conservative government in 1997 was because Blair dropped anything remotely socialist from his agenda and had all the lefties zip it for the next six years, which they were all happy to do because power beats principles anytime.
