Among the results RSA found where that London had the largest percentage increase in access points at 160% (the 2006 survey route had 2747 access points while the same route in 2007 had 7130), followed by New York 49% and Paris 44%. Paris had the largest percentage increase in public hotspots at 37%, London increased by 27% and New York by 17%, although overall New York still leads with the actual number of wireless access points that are hotspots, 15% of their total while only 6% of London’s wifi points are hotspots.
