Beck’s Fusions

becks.jpgBeck’s the beer company and the ICA (Institute of Contemporary Arts) have got together to organize a series of live art and musicial events called Beck’s Fusions which will take place in London, Dublin, Manchester and Glasgow.

The London event is on from 6-9 September, takes place in Trafalgar Square and is free to enter. Beck’s and the ICA have brought together some of the UK’s leading musical and artistic talent to create a spectacular multimedia art installation. The centre of the exhibition will be the Beck’s Fusion Pod, a custom built 26m x 10m orbital space to showcase ground breaking visual, light and sound art works.

On Sunday 9 September the Pod will become a hi-tech stage for a multimedia performance by the Chemical Brothers and United Visual Artists(UVA). You need a ticket for this which can be won on the Beck’s Fusion website.

Beck’s Fusions is open from 12noon-10pm on 6-7 September and 10am-10pm on 8 September, entrance is free and no tickets are required. The Chemical Brothers performance on 9 September will also feature UVA, Flat Nose George, Calvin Harris, Novak 3D Disco and Erol Alkan. Gates for this open at 6.30pm.
