Ealing Literary Festival

ealing.jpgThe Ealing Literary Festival takes place this weekend 1-2 September at Acton Green Common in Chiswick West London.

The festival is on from 11am-7pm each and is free to enter. It features readings from writers and poets, Q&A sessions with authors, spoken word performances, roundtable discussions and a workshop tent with seminars and classes on all aspects of writing from scriptwriting, shorts stories and children’s storytelling to writing a musical.

Among the writers and authors giving readings are Adam Zamoyski, Nicholas Parsons, Nirpal Singh Dhaliwhal, Ruth O’Callaghan and Gautam Malkani. The festival will also feature booksellers, food, drink and crafts stalls.

Acton Green Common is about 3 miles to the west of Kensington Gardens, the nearest Undergound stations are Turnham Green and Chiswick Park on the District Line. Map
