Greenpeace ship open days The Arctic Sunrise is the ship that Greenpeace have been using for the last 12 years in their campaigns around the world, including protecting the whales in the Antarctic from the blubber hungry Japanese and recording climate change in Greenland. Now they’ve brought the ship to London to campaign against the British government’s decision to replace our submarine launched nuclear missiles. Personally I think Greenpeace are completely wrong on this and Britain should keep its nuclear weapons, but if you want to hear their side of the story the Arctic Sunrise will be moored at Thames Quay on the Isle of Dogs, not far from Canary Wharf, and will be open to the public to have a look around from 11am-4pm on 10-11 March. Its free to go aboard.
