Exhibition on moving abroad

prop.jpgRecent figures revealed record numbers of people in the UK are emigrating and millions more have invested in property overseas. If you’re thinking of joining them why not get along to A Place in the Sun Live an exhibition based on the hugely popular Channel 4 show and the world’s largest overseas property and lifestyle exhibition, on at ExCel London this week.

They’ve got experts on hand to provide lots of valaubale advice on buying abroad and a host of free seminars covering finance, the law, letting, investment and visas. The seminars start every hour from 11am and are on a first-come first-served basis.

The show also features live entertainment on the main stage, various international cuisine to try and two new features, the Emigration Show and the French Pavillion. Over 1 million British people are expected to emigrate in the next five years and the Emigrate Show is on in partnership with the Foreign Office’s ‘Know Before You Go’ campaign which wants people to prepare properly before they travel. The French Pavillion features everything French with over 20 specialist estate agents as well as a food market and lots of lifestyle information.

A Place in the Sun Live features over 300 exhibitors and is on from 30 March-1 April. Its open from 10-6pm Fri-Sat, 10am-5.30pm Sun and tickets are £10. Custom House for ExCeL on the Docklands Light Railway is the nearest station.
