Eyes on the Tour de France

gw.jpgThe Tour De France Opening Ceremony drew a big crowd to London’s Trafalgar Square this evening, the rain even held off which must be a good omen and around half a million people are expected to watch tomorrow’s Prologue through the centre of town which starts at 3pm.

Fans can get a reminder of past classic Tours over the weekend at a photographic exhibition taking place at County Hall on the South Bank near the London Eye. Its called Eye on the Tour de France and features the photos of English photographer Graham Watson who’s been recording the Tour since 1977, usually from the back of one of the Tour motorbikes. Its free to enter, is open from 10am-5.30pm running until 9 July and looks well worth checking out.
