jump.jpgIf you’re ever around the East End on a Sunday morning and more specifically Columbia Road for its flower market, why not take the chance to get your picture taken for free by a professional. Every Sunday London based photographer Seamus Ryan invites members of the public to take part in a session of shoots in his studio under the title the Sunday Shoots.

He gets ordinary people expressing different emotions or actions in each shoot such as Jump, How Mad Are You, Scream and Shout, Silhouette among others. The Sunday Shoots are open to anyone and are free to take part in, the images taken are put up on the Sunday Shoot website the following week and fine art prints of your portraits are available to buy. Seamus Ryan has had his work exhibited at the V&A Museum and the Photographers Gallery in London as well as in New York and Los Angeles.

The Sunday Shoots take place between 10am-2.30pm each Sunday at 7 Ezra Street just off Columbia Road in the Shoreditch area. The nearest Tubes are Old Street, Liverpool Street or Shoreditch.
