JapanEX London

japanex.jpgLondon is turning Japanese for a couple of days next week, well at least ExCel exhibition centre in Docklands is when it hosts JapanEx London, which gives an insight into traditional and contemporary Japanese culture, entertainment and tourism.

JapanEx is on from 10am-5pm on 21-22 July and features include demonstrations and samples of Japanese food and drink, exhibitions of Japanese martial arts such as Aikijujutsu, Aikido, Kenjutsu, Kendo, Ninjutsu, Shorinji Kemp and traditional drumming and music. There’s also examples of the latest technology coming out of Japan, Japanese Manga and Anime, Cosplay, the Costume-Play dressing up the Japanese are into, as well as sections on fashion , travel and games.

Tickets for JapanEx cost £10 adults, £5 children. ExCel London is at the Royal Victoria Docks, the nearest station is Custom House for ExCel on the Docklands Light Railway. Map
