Kensington Palace to stage Shakespeare play

dream.jpgKensington Palace, Princess Di’s former home on the western edge of Kensington Gardens in central London, is told hold a play in its grounds for the first this August.

The Oxford Shakespeare Company will staging a short run of A Midsummer Night’s Dream in the Palace gardens from 4-17 August (except 6 August) with tickets costing £25. The OSC has been performing their open air shows for six years and include circus performers in the company.

Family tickets or combined theatre/dinner or picnic tickets are available and a bar will be open at the interval. Tickets can be bought online from the Oxford Shakespeare Company or on 0870 609 2231, or from Ticketmaster. Performances begin at 7.30pm.

Kensington Palace is on Palace Avenue, off of Kensington Road. The nearest Tube is High Street Kensington. Map
