There are three big film premieres scheduled to take place in London this month, all of them at cinemas in Leicester Square.
11 June Shrek the Third The second follow up to the original Shrek with the same famous names providing the animation voices, including Mike Myers, Eddie Murphy, Cameron Diaz, Julie Andrews, John Cleese, Antonio Banderas and Justin Timberlake. The premiere’s at the Odeon Leicester Square, its a Monday evening in June so they’ll be thousands of people around, not sure how many of the stars will turn up though.
12 June Fantastic Four:Rise of the Silver Surfer Another sequel see’s Mr Fantastic, The Invisible Girl, The Human Torch and The Thing trying to save the Earth from destruction by the Silver Surfer. This premiere is at the Vue West End cinema in Leicester Square and it might be worth joining the crowd if the lovely Jessica Alba show’s up.
20 June Live Free or Die Hard If Rocky Balboa and Rambo can still kick butt why not John McClane, its 12 years since Die Hard:With a Vengeance and McClane takes on an internet based terrorist organization which is systematically shutting down the computer systems of the US. This premiere’s at the Empire Leicester Square and Bruce Willis usually shows up in London when he’s got a movie out. Here’s the trailer, it looks pretty action packed.
