The London Food Festival is on this week at the Business Design Centre in Islington. The festival runs from 7-9 September and features expert chefs giving new rescipes to try, a product demonstration area, wine tastings where wine experts will explain how to taste and identify quality and the Demo Theatre where there’s a different programme each day.
Among the special guests are Anirudh Arora head chef at Covent Garden restaurant Moti Mahal, Sylvain Soulard from Morgan M restaurant in Islington, John Fernandez who will host the Kidz’ Cookery Corner, Mark Gilchrist explaining game cooking, Jamie Webber of Islington’s Marquess Tavern and Caribbean Chef Of The Year 2005 and 2006 Collin Brown.
Tickets cost £10 advance, £15 on the door. The festival is on 10am-8pm 7 Sept, 10am-6pm 8 Sept and 10am-4pm 9 Sept. The Business Design Centre is at 52 Upper Street, Islington, London, N1 0QH and Angel is the nearest Tube. Map
