London sale of everything Beatles

londonguide.jpgThe Beatles broke up almost 40 years ago but still sell truck loads of cds worldwide and the trade in their memorabilia is a whole cottage industry. This Sunday 11 March there’s a chance for fans to attend a London Beatles Day event at the Bonnington Hotel in the Bloomsbury area of central London.

London Beatles Day’s were first started in 1990 and now attract dealers, collectors and fans from the US, Europe and the Far East, and there are now four shows a year. You can buy or trade records, cds, books, clothing, posters and pretty much any other type of Beatles related item.

You can also get a valuation on your prize Beatles memorabilia in case you need to sell it, which might be the case with Paul McCartney after the news today that his wife Heather is demanding a divorce settlement that pays her £10,000 per day because that’s the minimum amount she needs ‘to get by’ in her current lifestyle. I think he should release a version of Kanye West’s GoldDigger to pay her off.

The London Beatles Day is on from 10am-4pm on 11 March, admission is £3. The Bonnington Hotel is on Southampton Row, between Russell Square and Holborn Tubes.
