Open Rehearsal London

rehearsal.jpgHere’s an excellent opportunity for Londoners and visitors alike, a six day festival where you can go behind the scenes at some of the city’s top music, dance and theatre venues to watch rehearsals, take backstage tours, take part in workshops and master classes or hear celebrity talks, and all for free.

Open Rehearsal is on from 27 September-2 October and the festival features dozens and dozens of different events each day at some of the 30+ venues taking part, which include the Barbican, the English National Ballet, the National Theatre, the Old Vic, the Royal Academy of Music, the Royal Court Theatre, Sadlers Wells Theatre and the Wigmore Hall.

Its a unique chance to take a look at how major venues work, see top theatre companies, orchestras and musicians fine tuning their performances and to get some expert tuition if you having performing ambitions of your own.

Check the Open Rehearsal webiste or download the pdf brochure for full listings of events, times and venues.
