Details of the lineup for a special gig at the Royal Albert Hall in September have been released. The Peace One Day Concert on 21 September will feature Annie Lennox, Corinne Bailey Rae, James Morrison, Beth Orton and Marc Almond among others.
Peace One Day was a project started in 1999 by British filmmaker Jeremy Gilley as a day of international ceasefire and non-violence and it was adopted as World Peace Day by the United Nations in 2001. The Albert Hall gig starts at 7.30pm and raises money for Peace One Day which is a non profit organization. Tickets are on sale and cost between £35-£100. The Royal Albert Hall is on Kensington Gore across from Kensington Gardens.

found Peace one day info on bottle of ecover weeks after event but glad to find it none the less.. can lookout for it next year.
Ironic I have son in British Forces but I understand why. He also subscibes to peace organisation. Hot on duty and fairness. Not yet a brutalised person and I pray he stays that way.
