Rivers of the World

river.jpgThe gallery@oxo on the ground floor of the Oxo Tower building has a new exhibition opening tomorrow called Rivers of the World featuring artwork by young people from 64 schools in London, Kolkata (Calcutta), Chongqing, Cape Town and Cairo inspired by the rivers which flow through these cities, the Thames, Ganges, Yangtze, Liesbeek and Nile.

This arts project is part of London’s Thames Festival which takes place in the middle of September and the exhibition is free to enter. It runs from 30 August-16 September and the gallery@oxo is open daily from 11am-6pm. The Oxo Tower is on the south bank of the Thames between Waterloo and Blackfriars bridges with the nearest Tubes Waterloo, Southwark or Blackfriars. Map
