Flamenco Festival London 2007 The fourth annual Flamenco Festival in London is on at Sadlers Wells in the Clerkenwell area of London until the 3rd March featuring the best of Flamenco dancing, music and singing. Sadlers Wells is a few hundred yards from Angel Tube Station.
Robert Brownjohn An exhibition of the work of the American graphic designer and filmmaker at the Design Museum. Brownjohn created the title sequences for Bond films such as From Russia with Love and Goldfinger and also designed the covers for Rolling Stones albums in the 1960s. He died in 1970 and this exhibition on until 4 March takes a look back at his creations. The Design Museum is on Shad Thames on the south bank of the river just to the east of Tower Bridge and is open from 10am-5.45pm.
London Fashion Weekend On the lawns of the Natural History Museum is where over 130 designers who participated in London Fashion Week sell their collections at knock down prices. On from 10am-6pm this weekend, tickets are £10 and South Kensington is the nearest Tube.
National Wedding Show Another one for the ladies this is about the third major wedding show in London this month and is on at Olympia until 25 February. Everything you’ll need for the perfect wedding except the right partner, the show is open from 10am-6pm Sat, 10am-5pm Sun. Tickets are £12.
Bricklayers Arms Yorkshire Beer Festival South-West London’s Pub of the Year as named by the Campaign For Real Ale, has a three day festival 23-25 February featuring 25 real ales from Yorkshire and they promise the bacon butty cart with Landlord Sausages and Landlord Fruitcake. The Bricklayer’s Arms is on Waterman Street in Putney, just west of Putney Bridge on the south side of the Thames.
Football Three Premiership games in London, Charlton v West Ham, Fulham v Man Utd, Watford v Everton, two games in the Championship, Crystal Palace v Luton and QPR v Plymouth, Leyton Orient v Tranmere is the League One game in the capital. And find a tv on Sunday afternoon to watch the Arsenal kids beat Chelsea in the Carling Cup Final.
