Street Performer of the Year

Britain’s street performers get a chance to battle it out to see who’s the best this weekend in the Street Performer of the Year contest taking place at Victoria Park in Hackney from 25-27 August.

Musicians, jugglers, acrobats, fire breathers, dancers, magicians, comedians, clowns, poets, street theatre, mime artists and many other types of performer will be battling it out and the contest is open to anyone to take part in. If you want to perform on the event’s main stage you need to call 07821 250646 or if you want do your routine to the crowds in the park speak to the contest staff first.
