france.jpgThe France Show 2008 takes place this week, 18-20 January, at London ’s Olympia Grand Hall. Its a show for anyone interested in France, whether just holidaying there, moving permanently or perhaps with an interest in French culture.

The show is divided into five distinct zones, Property, Travel, Language and Culture, Lifestyle, and Food and Wine. The Property Zone features over 200 exhibitors including estate agents, developers, solicitors, banks and property professionals to give you the lowdown on buying your dream place in France. There are a series of seminars which are all free.

In the Travel Zone French tour operators and regional tourist boards will be on hand to offer advice on visiting their part of the country, they’ll also be holding free seminars and there will be designated areas for boating, cycling, camping, walking, skiing and golf vacations in France.

The Language and Culture Zone has advice and guidance on learning French and a French bookstore while in the Lifestyle Zone French restaurants and a champagne bar will be opened along with a French Wall of Fame while French street entertainers will perform.

One of the most popular areas is bound to be the Food and Wine Zone which will feature a wine seminar theatre and a food theatre stage where leading French chefs will be giving cooking demonstrations.

The France Show runs from 10am-6pm Fri-Sat, 10am-5pm Sun with tickets costing £8. Kensington Olympia on the District Line is the nearest Tube station. Map
