veggie.jpgThe Royal Horticultural Halls in central London are holding The Incredible Veggie Show this Saturday 30 June, an event that promise’s to tell you ‘everything you ever wanted to know about being or going veggie or vegan – or simply cutting down on meat.’

As a meat lover I’ve no interest in becoming a vegan or a veggie but if you do this show has a host of cooking demonstrations and guest speakers who’ll try and show you the benefits of a lettuce and lentil diet.

There are also over 100 stalls offering a large variety of free food samples, advice, veggie products, books and beauty products, free individual dietary advice, tips on slimming and avoiding cancer. There’s a celebrity auction and top experts and celebrities talking on health and nutrition.

The Veggie Show is on from 10am-5.30pm and tickets are £3, under 16s free. The Royal Horticultural Halls are on Greycoat Street just off Victoria Street, about a 5-10 minute walk down from Westminster Abbey. The nearest Tubes are St James’s Park, Victoria or Pimlico.
