Somerset House on the banks of the River Thames is hosting the second annual London Craft Fair, an event put together by the Crafts Council and Somerst House which features over 300 of the world’s most influential and innovative designer-makers, giving the public a chance to buy their work and meet the people who’ve made it.
The designers at the fair are working with glass, ceramics, jewellery, metal, furniture, paper, basketry, wood and textiles producing everything from fashion accessories to decorative objects for the home and items that have a more functional use.
The London Craft Fair is on from 2-7 and 9-14 October, 11am-7pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, 11am-9pm Thursdays and 10am-6pm Saturdays and Sundays. Tickets cost £7 advance or £8 on the door. Somerset House sits between the Strand and the Embankment in central London, next to Waterloo Bridge. Map
