The London Motorsport Show and The London Kart Show

London’s ExCel Centre hosts a weekend for motorsport fans on 8-9 December with the London Motorsport Show and the London Kart Show taking place at the east London venue.

The show covers all aspects of motorsport from Karting to Formula One and is the place to take the next wannabe Lewis Hamilton in your family who can turn up and try their driving skills on the Karting track, minimum age 12 years. The show has a Future of Motorsport zone where you find out about how to get a career in motorsport, a Girls in Motorsport Zone designed to help more women get involved in motor racing, the One stop License Zone where you can get everything you need to apply for a racing license including a medical.

The London Masters Rallycross Competition will feature around 100 Rallycross riders competing over an arena based circuit on a purpose built coarse. The Historic and Classic Kart Club of Great Britain will showcase an array of karts from the 1960’s and there are free workshops running each day, offering mechanical advice, racing tips, media awareness and more from racing professionals and motor sport organisations. Dozens of motorsport related exhibitors will also have stands at the show.

The Motorsport Show is open Saturday 10am–6.30pm with the Rallycross on from 10am–8pm, and on Sunday 10am–5pm with the Rallycross from 10am–3.30pm. ExCel London is at the Royal Victoria Dock in east London with Custom House on the Docklands Light Railway the nearest station. Map
