Tower Bridge European Christmas Market
Christmas Markets are a tradition throughout continental Europe and now the Potters Field area on the south side of London’s Tower Bridge will be hosting one this year from 29 November - 22 December.
The Tower Bridge European Christmas Market will feature market traders from a variety of European countries selling arts and crafts, food, drink and a range of Christmas gifts and decorations.
Traditional wooden Christmas Market huts will be set up and on offer will be regional specialities such as smoked meats, sausages, schnitzel, Flammkuchen, continental lager in the Beerhall along with French, Italian and other European wine, Manger des Crepes, Dutch cookies, traditional Lebkuchen and mulled wine.
Entertainment at the market will include Santa Claus in his grotto, a wooden carousel, acoustic musicians, Christmas Choirs, plus brass and classical ensembles. The Christmas Market is open daily from 10am-8pm starting this Thursday. Potters Field is on the south bank of the Thames with the nearest Tubes London Bridge or Tower Hill. Map

We went there today (1 Dec) and it’s nothing there. Extremely disappointed with the lack of choice. It’s not a European Christmas market at all. Felt like we were tricked!
