Homes Overseas Magazine Exhibition The second London show of the year for Homes Overseas Magazine, this one takes place at ExCel London near canning Town. Speak to agents and developers from around the world or go to the seminars on tax planning, financing, retiring abroad and more.
Taking place from the 27-29 October, tickets are £5 on the door, £2.50 advance, nearest station is Custom House on the Docklands Light Railway.
October Plenty A free festival celebrating autumn taking place on the south bank of the Thames close to the Globe Theatre. There’s music and dance and a procession that moves to Borough Market. It’s on the 29th October starting at noon.
The Wine Show Go and educate your mind and your palate at the Business Design Centre in Islington for three days. Taste wine , learn about wine, talk to the makers, maybe even buy some. There’s a preview night on October 26 and the main show runs from 27-29 October, tickets £15-17.50. Nearest tube Angel on the Northern Line or Highbury and Islington on the Victoria.
London MCM(Movie Comic Media) Expo If you’re into all the Japanese Manga and Anime comics and animation then the MCM Expo shopuld be right up your street. Tons of stands, dealers, special guests, games areas, this is all taking place at ExCel London from the 28-29 October, 11am-6pm Sat, 11am-5pm Sun, tickets are £7 adult, £3 child.
USA Today Not the newspaper but 40 of America’s new young artists showing their work at the Royal Academy of Arts off Piccadilly, halfway between Green Park and Piccadilly tube stations. The exhibition is running from the 6 October-4 November, tickets cost £2.80-£10.
