Entry forms are now available for the next London Marathon which takes place on 13 April 2008. If you’re masochistic enough to want to join the almost 40,000 runners who take part and feel like putting in four or five months of training this winter, now’s the time to get your entry in.
For UK based runners you can get an entry form in a free magazine called Marathon News which is available from all major high street sports stores. The London Marathon accepted online entries this year but only from the first 10,000 entrants. If you live overseas and want to apply you need to do it through Sports Tours International who are the London Marathon’s Official Overseas Entry Agent.
Because of the massive number of people who want to take part each year all entries will go into a ballot in October and successful entrants will be notified in December. Doing the 26 miles in fancy dress is optional.
