It was a beautiful day for Arsenal’s parade today, starting at Highbury at around 10.30am.
Here’s a few images from the day.
Here come the champions
The fans are expectant, and the boys are just round the corner
Arsene Wenger, David Dein and Thierry Henry at the front of the bus
I could be on Sol Campbell’s home video

Outstanding

Arsenal have done what nobody since Preston in 1889 have done, go through the league season without losing a game.
Preston were called The Invincibles and this Arsenal team have been called The Immortals. I don’t think they are immortals but they are a fantastic club, with tremendous team spirit, skill and will to win. And [...]

FOR THE CHAMPIONS!
In the end Arsenal won the Premiership at a canter. Man. United and Chelsea just couldn’t last the pace and all the Gunners had to get at Tottenham was get the 2-2 draw, which they did without getting out of second gear.
Now the boys can relax in the last four games and just [...]

Almost there

Its getting close now. If Chelsea draw or lose at Newcastle next saturday, Arsenal can win the Premiership at Tottenham next sunday, how sweet would that be, winning the championship at our biggest rivals.
Arsenal cruised past Leeds last night 5-0 and Thierry Henry was just incredible getting four goals.
We’ve now got five games left to [...]

look like they could be about to come off Arsenal’s season.
Chelsea won 2-1 at Highbury tonight to go through to the Champions League semi-finals, following on from Man.United dumping Arsenal out of the FA Cup semi-final on saturday.
From being the team that couldn’t lose, playing inspired football, suddenly the Arsenal players look like they have [...]

Arsenal 1-1 Manchester United

By BootsnAll | March 28th, 2004 | 1 Comment »

As an Arsenal fan you can’t help feeling a little deflated by this result.
It was a fairly close game, but after the Gunners took the lead through Theirry Henry’s spectacular 30 yarder, Arsenal were pretty much in control.
Arsene Wenger is a brillant coach and 99.9% of what he does you can’t argue with, but bringing [...]

You can taste it

Cream rises to the top, its looking that way in the Premiership. Arsenal got a big win at Chelsea yesterday, Manchester United could only draw at home to Leeds and the rest are just so far out of sight.
Arsenal have twelve games left to win the championship and go the whole season undefeated and the [...]

El Rey

By BootsnAll | February 15th, 2004 | Comments Off

The boy Reyes comes good. A couple of weeks after signing from Seville Jose Reyes was Arsenal’s match winner to knock Chelsea out of the FA Cup.
Theirry Henry didn’t play and you would have thought this was Chelsea’s chance to really show what they’ve got, but the whole Arsenal side were up for it, especially [...]

Arsenal 2-1 Manchester city

By BootsnAll | February 1st, 2004 | Comments Off

Arsenal kept up the pace with Man. United and Chelsea by beating Manchester City at Highbury.
It chucked it down with rain in north London this afternoon and even Arsenal’s pitch and drainage struggled to handle all the water.
Man.City put in a good performance but you always felt the game was Arsenal’s for the taking.
City fans [...]

The final piece?

By BootsnAll | January 27th, 2004 | 2 Comments »

Arsenal have finally splashed the cash and gone big in the transfer market getting 20 year old Spaniard Jose Reyes from Sevilla.
I don’t no much about this kid, Sevilla haven’t made the champions league lately so he hasn’t had that much exposure outside Spain, but listening to experts on Spanish football he sounds like he [...]
