£25 Congestion Charge for bigger cars

The Mayor of London says TfL (Transport for London) will start a consultation this week on the plans to charge SUV’s, 4×4s and luxury cars £25($50!) a day to drive into the central London Congestion Zone. People living in the zone who own one of these types of vehicle would also lose their resident discount. [...]

A new report has been released on the most expensive streets in Britain, compiled from Land Registry sale price statistics. Probably unsurprisngly 45 of the 50 most expensive streets in the country are in London and the other five are close by in the South East.
