Its looking like there’s going to be a war sooner or later in Iraq, probably won’t last very long but you never can tell. What I don’t quite understand is this story of about the Greenpeace ship Rainbow Warrior blockading ports to stop military ships leaving.

Looks like Ryanair is offering some pretty low fares at the moment, flying out of Stansted airport which is about twenty-five minutes away from where I live in Hertford and has direct train and road routes to central London. My favourite airport to fly from, easy to get in and out of, clean and spacious.

Lots of talk about London bidding for the 2012 Olympics and what it’s going to cost. £4 billion is the latest estimate for building facilities and trying to get the transport to parts of east London where they want to stage it.
My problem is £4 billion now equals christ knows how much in ten years [...]
