The new sponsorship deal that Arsenal have signed with the Israeli tourist board is upsetting muslims, surprise, surprise.
Arsenal move into their new stadium in the summer, which will be called the Emirates Stadium for at least fifteen years after the club did a deal with Emirates Airlines. They’ll also be the shirt sponsors for seven years.

The club have signed a contract to promote Israel as a destination, within the stadium.
The deal with Israeli tourism doesn’t seem to be worth that much but the usual muslim groups over here say they are ‘angry and saddened’. How is that different from any other day of the week, these characters are permanently angry about something so I wouldn’t worry too much about protests if I was Arsenal, and remember bin Loony was meant to be an Arsenal fan.

Having said that, it’s a strange deal because you would have thought the natural home for the Israeli tourist board would have been Tottenham.
Maybe it’s David Dein’s plan to attract some of the Yid Army over to Ashburton Grove.
