Ray Parlour’s ex-wife has won a landmark case entitling her to a third of his future earnings on top of the considerable assets she got from their divorce.
She claims she deserves this because she helped Parlour get away from the drinking culture at the club.
I guess Arsene Wenger deserves a third share as well because when he became manager in 1996 he put an end to the players drinking and ring leaders like Paul Merson were shown the door.
I’m sure if Ray was asked who had helped him straighten out his career, Wenger would be the main influence.
