‘the referee’s a ****er’

A homer would be the politest thing you could call Mike Riley after the Man.Utd v Arsenal game sunday.

The fallout continues with Ruud van Nistelrooy getting rightly charged with trying to take Ashley Cole’s keecap off and the Arsenal players being looked at for pelting Alex Ferguson with soup and food in the tunnel after the game.
What a shame the boys didn’t have a bucket of curry handy to dump on Fergie’s fat head.

The fact you can’t get away from is Mike Riley’s penalty record in Man.Utd games, the last eight times he’s refereed a United game he’s given them eight penalty’s and in a tight game like yesterday’s it was crucial, especially when everyone including Man.U players say Rooney dived to get it.

Still think Arsenal have plenty left to win this league despite cockeyed refs.

I saw a replay of the game and I saw plenty of physical tackles on both sides. Players from both tams oculd of been sent off.

I’m not a Rooney fan but I must say I was impressed with the way he laid Sol Campbell flat like a Wide Reciever slamming into a Safety.

The penalty was unfortunate and against the run of play, Rooney even said Campbell didn’t touch him to the Arsenal players.

United did score a nice second goal very late and Arsenal have to finish their chances better next time.

Chucking the food sounds funny but could be very costly for a player like Thierry Henry if they find him guilty.

Yeah, be great if they could get Junior and Falcao as well. I reckon Socrates will still be able to do the business at 50.
