There’s the door

As bullshit excuses go Ashley Cole came up with a good one to explain how he ended up in a hotel room with the Chelsea top brass.

Apparently Ashley and his agent just happened to be in a private room at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London when, uninvited, super agent Pini Zahavi, Chelsea CEO Peter Kenyon and Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho wandered in.
What a coincidence, especially when Chelsea have told a Premier League inquiry Cole had asked for the meeting.

What with Jose Reyes doing nothing on the pitch and whining every chance he gets about wanting a move back to Spain and Patrick Vieira playing the whole season like he’s still pining after Real Madrid, I think Arsenal need to crack down on this team and say you either get focussed on the job or ship out this summer and we’ll get someone in who’s committed to the club.
A shake up is due.

Bad karma for Chelsea. They have a billionaire manager who used his cash to buy the team, buy the manager who just won the Champions League, buy Man U’s CEO (Peter Kenyon), buy a truck load of the top talent in Europe including some very shady approaches to players from other teams (Scott Parker ) who were under contract.

Mourinho has lied about the dressing room incident to stir up trouble with Barcelona and now he and the CEO are caught in a hotel room with an Arsenal player.

You have to feel Chelsea are dancing on an icy stage.
