Just to let you know I have tried all the numbers and nothing. I can’t get through to a single person who can help me.
Please, any one reading this - never book your holidays through British Airways, their customer servie is virtually non existant
Sorry to hear that Ourman, BA need to up their game.
Very very, totally disappointed and frustrated with British Airways poor management. Lost 2 baggages at a flight connection in Heathrow and no one there on the phone or website can tell you where the baggages are. Someone there at British Airways has to stand up and take action!!! Where are you, do you still care of your reputation and do you take care of your customers. Help please.
I am Very very disappointed and frustrated with British Airways poor baggage management. They Lost 2 baggages at a flight connection in Heathrow on 3 Aug 07, and and up to todayv (6 August 2007)no one there can tell me where the baggages are. Come on British Airways… What’s wrong with taking good care of your customers??? Do you still care of your reputation and business? Why do you fly people into one airport any fly them out on another connection from anyther airport anyways?????
I am very very frustrated with BA on their baggage handling. It is now more than 3 days and I have not yet received my baggage.
First, no two people at call center have same information. They say different things making me wonder if I being taken for a ride. Second, The website status is at best misleading. I would expect BA staff to take full accountability on this until luggage reaches my door. And BA does not know when that will happen!!!. I cannot imagine that BA is keeping all these backlog baggages not knowing when all would clear.
I wonder if the BA management is serious on this issue.
Does anybody know who the exwcutive would be to complain about our problems below:
My wife and I travelled on BA from Canada through Heathrow and on to Venice for a cruise. We were in Venice for 4 days on a cruise for 7 and in Barcelona for 3 days all without our lost luggage. We were in Paris 13 days after our bags were lost before bag#1 arrived, bag #2 was 14 days. During this entire 2 week period,I was in daily contact with BA by phone and webpage, and got nothing but lies about where our bags were and when to expect them. They even claimed at one instance that they were sending the bags back to Toronto (We do not even live there) because they couldn’t get our bags to us on the cruise. I spent over an hour explaining to them that we wanted our bags back (we were in Rome)either in Barcelona where we were spending 3 days or Paris.
They finally relented and said they would try their best! I am now claiming my expenses and of course that is a nightmare also.
I will never fly BA again and will tell every one I know about this disaster!
The worst airline customer relations is British Aiways.I have lost my luggage 3 weeks back and still no news from the airline. The answers we hear from British Airways are useless. In the future please boycot British Airways.I will never ever will fly with them
British Airways lost my bags and they can’t be bothered to do anything about them. May the company go down in a crash!
BAA and RFID, all this sounds great but what happens when a bag departs from Heathrow. The vast majority of airports in the work do not have RFID and from what I have been told by the industry, they will not go down this route.
So why bother trying a system out when it will only work in a few places.
A much better system I have been looking into a system called baggagepin. From what I have read this system works anywhere without the reliance on others. If anyone is interested the company behind this system can be found at www.baggagepin.com. All our staff members have been give access to this system and at the very least when I send them away on business they have a little more to help make sure their baggage find them.

British airways lost my bags at Terminal 5 . I felt very sorry for the BA staff who were trying to deal with what turned out to be a major disaster . Oviously I blame BA for this , but I think that the baggage system , which is the responsibility of the BAA cuased most of the problems -
long story cut short.
20 days now.. atleast 50 calls to Baggage Service helpline and SFO BA Customer Service, including the ones to cell of the customer service manager Mr. Matthew Roberts who cuts the call everytime.
Website tells a different story
The helpline another.. and the SFO BA office, 3-4 times i got hold of, different story altogether… do ppl in BA speak different languages and access different files!!
Wonder if I will be even able to get that claim amount if lost because i see many complaints stating that you have to spend $1500 to get that compensation of $1500!
Customer Service ppl do not listen to their customers and argue about customer rights and customer service!!
my daughter Lost her bag with lots of items of sentimental value. Details as under;
FLIGHT AND DATE-BA64 / 11APRIL / BA117/12APRIL ROUTING NBO/LHR/JFK TAG NUMBER BA554445.
Kindly update progress in tracing the baggage.

Thank you - British Airways no longer even bothers answering its lost baggage line - it simply has a recorded announcement that says due to the high number of complaints they can’t take calls.
Is it just me or does that sound absolutely incredible? I mean essentially they have something of mine and I can’t even contact them to get it back.
Anyway, I will try all the numbers you suggest first thing in the morning. Thank you.
