The party’s over for the Boks

South Africa, the hosts of the Cricket World Cup, are out and there’s still about three weeks to go. That’s got to be a massive downer for the tournament down there.
They had to beat Sri Lanka today to ensure qualifying from their group but heavy rain washed the game out and it was declared a tie. Not wanted at your own party, South Africa going out gets rid of one of the favourites and makes an Aussie repeat look even more likely.
