A pointless exercise

Why are England playing another meaningless friendly on Wednesday night?

Sven Goran Ericksson was the one leading the call for a winter break in the season and cutting down the size of the league because there are too many games.
The Premiership only started on saturday and straight away the players are off to this nothing game, where they’ll only end up playing one half each.

Ericksson will learn little he doesn’t already know from this match, and to me its just a chance for the FA to make a few quid.
