Arsenal 2-2 Man.United

My nerves were well on edge for the start of this one. Even a couple of pints didn’t help when United went in front, the championship is coming to the end and this was the make or break game.

Arsenal should have had the title wrapped up by now but silly defensive mistakes have thrown points away.
They came back well in the second half but Sol Campbell getting sent off with ten minutes to go is going to hurt Arsenal in their remaining five games, he gets a three game ban.

For the first time ever, Alex Ferguson walked on the pitch at the end and shook the referee’s hand, wonder why.

what a night - looks like it will be a close thing this year and I hope that the gunners walk away empty handed - thus speaks a Liverpool fan…

Let’s hope they get the new stadium as I am sure it will be good for the capital…

Who will be more pleased with the result? I must admit I was no looking forward to opening up Soccernet this morning and was relieved that it was a draw.

Bearing in mind Arsenal have not been playing well lately, were sloppy in the first half, conceded the first goal and had a possible off side goal count, they can’t be too upset. Of course Sol Campbell will be missed.

Looking at the remaining fixture for Arsenal and Man U I have to say I like Arsenal’s line up. No room for mistakes though and the strikers had better punish weakers teams with Van Nistelrooy waiting to do the same for Man U.

I suppose Arsenal needed to win that game more than Man U did, thus Sir Al was more than happy to shake the ref’s hand.

However with the linesman missing that blatant offside, Arsenal would be crying in their battered shoes right now..
