Arsenal bow out

While the war is the main thing on people’s minds there’s still the distraction of the football.
Just come back from watching Arsenal lose their last Champions League group game to Valencia 2-1 in Spain, and therefore go out of this season’s competition.
Arsenal only needed a draw to go through to the quarter final but Valencia needed the win and were too strong on the night.
A lot of skill and a fair amount of Argentinian play acting and gamesmanship from the likes of Ayala, Pelegrino, Aimar etc got Valencia through.

Arsenal only have themselves to blame, four draws from six games in this stage of the Champions League just doesn’t cut it.
They need to pick themselves up by Sunday when they play Everton in the Premiership because Man.United are breathing right down their necks.
