England 2-0 Turkey

England have just come through a tough Euro 2004 qualifer against Turkey.
Turkey, who finished third in the World Cup, were on top in the first half but England stepped it up a gear in the second, got more of a grip on the midfield and just about deserved the win.

17 year old Wayne Rooney started the game for England, he’s only played seven full professional games but is going to be the next big thing, expect to hear a lot more from this kid.
