If you’re coming to London at the end of the month and are looking to catch a football game, the 4th round of the FA Cup offers a good possibility of getting a ticket to a London teams match.
The 3rd round was this weekend just gone and nine London teams were still in this afternoon’s draw for the 4th round, although Tottenham, Fulham, QPR and Barnet all have to replay their games which were tied. If those four make it through all the London clubs will have home games in the next round except Watford and they’re playing a London derby at West Ham.
The games will be played over the weekend of 26-28 January, with so many potential games in the capital expect a lot of staggered starts. The full draw for the London teams is
Arsenal v Bolton
West Ham v Watford
Chelsea v Nottingham Forest
Barnet or Colchester v Peterborough or Plymouth Argyle
Crystal Palace v Preston North End
Queens Park Rangers or Luton Town v Blackburn Rovers
Fulham or Leicester City v Stoke City
I would imagine the hardest games to get tickets for will be the Arsenal and West Ham ones but I don’t think the others will be sold out.
